Game and Nature Reserve

The Oman Botanic Garden is a new development of the Diwan of Royal Court in Oman, celebrating the unique plants, landscapes and cultural traditions of Oman. The garden is currently under construction and when it opens it will showcase all of the native plant species of Oman in a series of carefully created, naturalistic habitats from the dry deserts to the rich monsoon cloud forests.

Qurum Natural Park popularly known as the Rose Garden, there is a large boating lake with fountain making a wonderful sight to the visitors. Inside the park there is a ’Waterfall Hill’ which looks spectacular especially during the night time when the visitors can view the flow of water through the artificial hill in the background of colourful lights.

The Jebel Akhar or Al Jabal Al Akhdar, is part of the Al Hajar Mountains range in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman. It extends about 300 km (186 mi) northwest to southeast, between 50–100 km (31–62 mi) inland from the Gulf of Oman coast, and is one of Oman’s most spectacular areas.

Bimmah Sinkhole is a water-filled depression, structurally a sinkhole. A lake of turquoise waters, it is 50 m by 70 m wide and approximately 20 m deep. It is only about 600 m away from the sea. Image Map
